The following documents are required to verify your account:
- Proof of Identity
It must be a government-issued photo ID that is not expired. The following documents are accepted as a proof of ID:
- Passport
- EU ID card, if you're a EU resident
- Driver's license
Other types of government-issued photo IDs can still be accepted, but may lead to a longer verification time or additional requests from our Compliance office.
PREFERRED ‘Proof of ID’ documents: Passport (or EU ID card for EU citizens is also acceptable)
Submit a clear scan or photo of your Passport with the first two pages in full view, or both sides of the ID card, as shown on the picture below.
Your name, surname, date of birth, the number of the document, date of issue, expiration date and the name of the country should be printed with Latin alphabet characters and be clearly visible and legible.
- Proof of Address
A clear scan or photo of a Bank Statement or a Utility Bill (gas, electric, water, landline bills) issued in your name within the last 6 months.
Please note that mobile phone and delivery bills can't be used as Proof of Address.
PREFERRED ‘Proof of Address’ documents: Bank Statement or Utility bill issued within the last 6 months.
The document must be easily readable, in good quality and with all relevant data (your name, address, date of issue) and written in Latin alphabet characters, as shown on the picture below.
Provided that you send us a clear scan of PREFERRED documents, we will be able to verify your account within the next business day. If you provide a different form of ID or Proof of address, the application process may take longer and additional documents and/or information may be required.
